Originally the first course in the Polaris World group the Mar Menor course near Torre Pacheco is a good resort course. The first 9 holes were designed by Dave Thomas, par 37, 3275 meters and the last 9 holes were designed by Nicklaus Design, par 35, 2878 meters with wide fairways; with a great diversity of designs.

There are many differences between the 2 parts of the course, the first round has fairways with little rough, all its generous greens are protected by wide bunkers and by the water of the surrounding lakes. The second round in typical Nicklaus style has wide fairways and wide roughs that will allow you great shots, although the bunkers are in all the perfect places to catch the bad balls. Special mention is made of the spectacular lake that surrounds holes 13, 4 and 15, making the water the biggest obstacle to overcome, known by local players as the "amen corner" of Mar Menor.

The magnificent practice facilities at Mar Menor Golf as well as a driving range, putting green and chipping green, include a practice and training hole.
