The Pinheiros Altos Golf Resort, located in the Ria Formosa National Park in Quinta do Lago, is one of the most prestigious and successful premier private golf and leisure resorts in Europe… and features a 27 hole championship course, offering exciting challenges and varying degrees of difficulty.

Each of the nine holes; The Pines, The Corks and The Olives are a par 36, all of which have their starting and finishing points close to the impressive clubhouse.
The Pinheiros Altos Pines Course (Pinheiros) is named after the abundance of pine trees which abound the course, this nine includes four of the new holes opened in January 2007 and five of the original front nine. One thousand additional pine trees were planted to blend the new with old.
The Pinheiros Altos Corks Course (Sobreiros) is the longer of the three nine holes at Pinheiros Altos and regarded as the most demanding.
The Olives Course was the original back nine and has remained unchanged since the island green eighth hole was constructed in 1995.

The eighth hole has become the signature hole of Pinheiros Altos and is a must-play hole when visiting the Algarve.

Much of the birdlife associated with Pinheiros Altos is visible on this nine. The gently rolling landscape of the Olives course and the way the holes meander between lakes make for a most tranquil if demanding golfing setting.
